Volunteering in the EMS tent at the Sonshine Festival was a must; for years she made it a family event; and as a music lover, it was her favorite type of music.Carrie loved sports, she could watch most any kind of sport, even her husbands sport of curling.She also loved dogs, motorcycle rides, musicals, and reading.
Unfortunately, Carrie was no stranger to pain and discomfort, suffering from a long list of various injuries and ailments during her life.
Carrie was born with a form of Ehler-Danlos, a syndrome that involves loose joints, super elastic skin and freakish flexibility, among many other things.
She kept busy with her 6 kids and was actively involved at the Cathedral Church.
After retiring in 2012, she and Val moved to the Twin Cities to be closer to their children and grandchildren.
Bonita Bonni Buchmeier age 65 of Inver Grove Heights, passed away peacefully February 7, 2018 surrounded by her loving family after a short battle against cancer.
